Last week was clearly bad as I didn’t manage to post my food journal. I am not going to dwell on it too much, as I had already beat myself up and made matters worse. I went from skipping one day to skipping the entire week. Apparently, I am still struggling to pull the trigger and be more serious about these life changes. However, all I can do is just hope to do better.
Breakfast: Half an everything bagel with cream cheese
Lunch: Leftover quesadilla and milk
Dinner: Leftover sausage spinach casserole, bread, milk
Snacks: Ice tea and sunflower seeds
Indulgences: Redbull, I still haven’t broken this habit. Single-piece of dark chocolate, beer
Lunch: Chicken and tots (unhealthy I know)
Dinner: Burritos with black beans, green onion, and cheese
Snacks: Navajo oven bread (someone bought us a bunch and I wanted to try it), milk, sunflower seeds, hot tea
Indulgences: Redbull, yes yes. One piece of dark chocolate
Today was not a good day for me…
Breakfast: Scrambled eggs and half a bagel, milk
Lunch: Premade salad, pure leaf unsweetened tea
Dinner: Chicken cooked with artichokes and capers. Milk, bread, asparagus
Snacks: Pickles, sunflower seeds
Indulgences: Redbull, dark chocolate
Today was better than yesterday but still clearly recovering from last week. There were some “eat my feelings” moments.
Breakfast: None overslept
Lunch: Black bean and cheese burrito, milk
Dinners: Leftover chicken from last night with Alfredo and pasta
Snacks: sunflower seeds, a bit of popcorn
Indulgences: … you already know what’s coming. Redbull. Wine.
Thursday-Friday: I sort of lost it at the end of this week which I part blame biology, part laziness, part I don’t know. I still wanted to post what I did for this week if for no other reason than habit. I clearly have room for improvement but baby steps.
