Can’t say that I am super happy about the fact that I already failed to get this done two weeks in a row. Last week was bad for a couple reasons, but honestly, I have rehashed it enough at this point. I am here, I am doing this, so moving on.

Much like two weeks ago until I get back in the habit of doing this regularly (and without thinking about it) my goals will be pretty general. Trying to eat well, trying to be active, watch things like sodium, don’t drink too much, things of that nature. As this becomes more routine for me again, I will set more specific goals.

The one specific goal I do have is 5,000 steps a day

Sunday 9/15

Breakfast: Ham and swiss on English muffin with a fried egg and hashbrown
Lunch: Late breakfast so skipped
Dinner: Salmon, green beans, wild rice, and caper “dressing” (capers, almonds, red wine vinegar, shallots)
Snacks: Citrus green tea, crackers and cheese
Indulgences: Redbull, sunflower seeds
Fitbit: Just barely- The problem with today and many days, is that I frequently take my Fitbit off while working at my computer and then forget to put it back on. It is a huge issue that I need to overcome.

Monday 9/16

Breakfast: Oatmeal, fried egg, half avocado, mushroom, spinach and arugula
Lunch: Skipped again- Maybe a goal should be actually eating lunch
Dinner: A meal-kit steak with potatoes and zucchini- I ate about half, maybe less. I was very underwhelmed, milk
Snacks: Coffee with a little creamer, crackers and cheese
Indulgences: Redbull, sunflower seeds, wine
Fitbit: ??? My tracker is glitching again. I am rather annoyed

Tuesday 9/17

Breakfast: Breakfast burritos
Lunch: Nothing
Dinner: Pork with mushroom and onion sauce, corn, brown rice
Snacks: Toast with peanut butter
Indulgences: Squirt, Redbull, sunflower seeds, birch beer
Fitbit: No

Wednesday 9/18

Breakfast: Sausage, egg, piece of toast, half a hashbrown, milk
Lunch: Nothing
Dinner: Black beans, brown rice, cheese burrito, milk
Snacks: Coffee with a bit of creamer, apple slices
Indulgences: Redbull
Fitbit: Yes? Tracker still messed up but I think I got it

Thursday 9/19

Bad day

Friday 9/20

Breakfast: Nothing
Lunch: Fast Food 😦
Dinner: Lemon chicken piccata
Snacks: Cheese and crackers
Indulgences: Redbull, wine
Fitbit: No

Overall not the best week, not the worst. It takes baby steps sometimes. I am happy that I got this done, although there is a lot of room for improvement with my diet. I am also extremely upset about my Fitbit at this point but I hope we can work something out.
